The Post Graduate Diploma in Management –in Finance is advance industrial oriented with six-Trimesters programme offered under the approval of AICTE Govt of India. The structured programme is of six trimesters, with online classes conducted mostly on weekends or after-business hours. Trimester 1 to 5 covers the disciplinary subjects relevant to the specialization and the 6th trimester covers Dissertation/ Project Work along with the elective subjects. The Dissertation (Project Work) in the final semester enables students to apply concepts and techniques learnt during the programme.  The program is helpful to the professionals understanding the managerial skills and good leadership qualities that opens number of doors for career growth.

Objectives: The basic objectives of PGDM Prog. Are:

 

  • To provide nation competent youth with knowledge, skills, Attitudes & Values to occupy a position in Corporate and Public Sector Units
  • To impart the students latest and relevant knowledge from the field of management
  • To provide opportunities to the students for developing managerial skills
  • To impart develop the right kind of values and attitude to function effectively managerial position

 

 

Assessment:

  • The final total assessment of the student shall be made in terms of internal assessment and external assessment.
  • The internal and external assessment will constitute separate heads of passing and they will be shown separately in the mark sheet 
  • For each paper meant for institute evaluation, the ratio of marks for internal assessment in relation to external assessment shall be 70:30 
  • The external assessment shall be based upon the external written examination to be held at the end of each semester 
  • The case study and viva shall constitute one head of passing

 

Examinations: The PGDM examination will be held in six trimesters.

 

Standard of Passing:

Every student must secure 40% marks in both Institute Evaluation as well as Internal Evaluation

 

Grading System:

The class shall be awarded to the student on the basis of aggregate marks obtained by the student in all two years (Part I and II).
